NOW THATS FRESH: Lauren Luna Custom Sneakers For Haiti
On average the human body can go 8 to 10 days with no water before dying. Well today, January 20th, marks day 8. Countless are the number of people who survived the earthquake and aftershocks, only to await death because they have no water to drink. On this the eighth day, Haiti has been rocked once again. This time 6.1 aftershock! After January 12, 2010 who would have foreseen more tragedy? At more than 200,000 dead, the quake death tolls are higher than the 2005 Tsunami that hit Indonesia, this impoverished country can take no more! I simply can't sit around and watch, if able I would go to Haiti myself! We must help them. No one deserves to watch their city crumble with their friends, family, neighbors under the rubble. I am auctioning off a pair of custom sneakers via Ebay to raise funds to send to Haiti. Reading the news has stirred in me the need to reach out and help this country. FRESH OR NOT FRESH: SWIZZ BEATS & SAM BROWN Speak About "On To The Next" Video
Vibe & MTV also caught up with Producer Swizz Beats and Director of The Music Video “On To the Next” Sam Brown. Here is what they had to say:

“I don’t think about that. I know that’s a billion percent not true. The video displays another level of art and creativity from two great minds: the director and Jay — and myself, bringing the collaboration together. It’s no satanic ways around me and that’s for sure. I’m with Jay — I never see none of that stuff around him unless he’s hiding something, which I doubt. C’mon, man. That’s silly stuff. That stuff you don’t even comment on; we on to the next one.”

I’m aware of the stir the video has caused and what people are saying. I think when you’re dealing in abstract imagery people are going to want to draw lines between things and make sense of it. However, I’ve always felt that the viewing public was, in general, extremely visually literate. They don’t always want or need things to be spelt out for them. One of the great things about music videos are they can be enjoyed purely visually—it doesn’t need to mean anything or make any sense. Conspiracy theory is another thing entirely, and seems to me to be about projecting pre-existing beliefs and desperately looking for things that confirm them. There is imagery in this video that is drawn from all over the place. None of it is owned by any one culture or belief system. You can connect anything if you try hard enough, and make it mean anything you want it to.
Vibe: So what was the overall direction Jay was looking for?
He gave me a very loose brief, and made it clear that we should be progressive with the video. All the imagery was thought up by me and was a response to the track itself. For those interested, the idea is actually about a funeral for old imagery and ideas, hence all the gothic and oppressive stuff. I was also trying to contradict the excess of hip-hop videos by making something brutally simple and claustrophobic.
I bet Jay had no idea his video would be this big of a deal. Or maybe he did….

So Angie Martinez FINALLY got Jay Z to speak on this whole free mason, devil worshiping, and illuminati thing. But with that to me she honestly got nowhere lol, he gave a bunch of comical safe answers. Check out the interview:

Finally,
Michelle and Kelly are both free, nobody can honestly say they thought that Mathew would have been a good manager to anybody but his daughters. I wish Kelly and Michelle both the best of luck with their careers now that they are off lock down records. Kelly’s albums where boo boo, it was like they let a domestic violence group write the songs for the first one. The second one we all felt the beat but then who even remembers the other singles she came out with? Michelle was the only smart one and came out with a gospel album until she found out what she wanted to do. Then Beyonce came back and did another Destiny’s Child album. I Am really excited to see what and how Michelle is gonna do though. Here Is what she said whne they caught up with her.“After much prayer and consideration I have decided to part ways from my management team, Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment. From my time in Destiny’s Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me. We’ve shared great success together. WHAT THE FRESH!!!: Lloyd Banks & Assult Charges
Lloyd Banks is being held by police in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada on assault and robbery charges. Lloyd Banks & three other men approached a club promoter after performing Friday night at Club NV. The promoter, whose name has not been released, says that early Saturday Lloyd Banks, Nicklas Sloane, Shawn McGee, and Tyrell Cooper came to his hotel room and assaulted and robbed him. The dispute was over payment for the Friday night performance and an appearance fee. Lloyd Banks and his three cohorts made a video court appearance on Sunday and were charged with forceful confinement, aggravated assault, and robbery!

NOW THATS FRESH: The Klatch
If women could say one thing to each other what would it be? This is a question asked oh so often. Well, today January 9. 2010 BLAKStar put an end to that. If you haven’t heard of “The Klatch” a forum about relationships, where real men and women dialogue, you need to get hip. I envision this thing getting really, REALLY big. It’s where we as people put a stop to all the BSing and get straight to the point. In December the all men panel, answered various questions asked by women. This week it was the fellas turn to go INNNNNN. The questions where GREAT!!! As the ladies answered questions like what are the qualities they look for in a man; what are we teaching our children to look for in the opposite sex; and what is the definition of love . . . etc?
Now It’s Time To Reflect:
Out of today’s event, I have learned that in a relationship you are gonna have problems. So many people are looking to run first chance they get. It’s hard work to please your spouse 24/7. But one woman talked about how her husband and she learned to compromise, she said “My husband will admit that he is wrong even when we know he’s right.” Guys how many of you can honestly say that you could do that because you love your woman? Ladies how many of you could stop right dead in your tracks when he admits that he is wrong even when you know he is right?
Now It’s Time To Reflect:

Knowing that when times are rough you are not alone in the situation and that you have somebody to support the team that you’ve built, and knowing that when you mess up there is somebody there to help you pick up the pieces and keep moving. FRESH START: So DebNAir 2009 Recap
Man 365 days really is not that long I can’t believe we are starting another year already. I guess you know what that mean… It’s time for my yearly recap. We went from “Its 2008 Its Time for Something Great”, “Its 2009 The World Is Mine.” This Year My Motto Will be “ITS 2010 I’m IN IT TO WIN.” With Starting a new business in Columbus Ohio I understand that the pressure is on. Last year was such a turning point for me, as I dove into the broadcasting field head first I realized this is gonna be a crazy year. With my Diploma from the Ohio Center For Broadcasting, my face on their commercial on constant rotation, Flypaper, and the opportunity to become a part of this Fresh Face Radio/ ENT I knew that I Had gotten myself into a lot. This year is the year I put my foot down to a lot of things. I have to let people know how much I am worth. God has given me some amazing talents and the gift of networking and I have to say I’m pretty damn good @ them. But I do appreciate everybody that is helping Fresh Face and guiding us in the right way. Look out for us because this is our year we been saying it since day one “It’s Time for Something Fresh” and we mean that.
What’s New for So DebNAir In 2010?
My first and most important goal is to get in shape, and to get my business in order. I want me and my team to make Fresh Face a house hold name this year. This radio show that we have I want people to be anxious to listen in every week. A lot of hard work goes into that show every week and we go hard on ourselves to make it better every week. I left Behind being unorganized, and not being on time to things. I learned this poem that says “Excuses are tools of incompetence, used to build monuments of nothingness and those who choose to use them seldom achieve anything great.” And that “Being early is on time, being on time is late, and being late is unacceptable.” These are things that I am carrying in to 2010 in my personal and business life. It’s time to grow up and be responsible for our actions.

There have been rumors that P.Diddy had dumped singer Cassie and became engaged to his ex Kim Porter. This morning about 3:30 am, Diddy tweeted “Just [sic] married!” on twitter. WHAT?!?!?! (( <--LIL JON)) I’m not sure if he had the New Year Getter's or what but two hours later the musician, whose real name is Sean John Combs, had enough of his followers tweeting about it and so he announced: "No I didn't get married !!!!! Pls stop asking!!!"
His rep immediately denied the gossip.

Hip-hop producer Shawty Redd (real name Demetrius Stewart) is being held in a Henry County, Ga jail, awating arraignment for homicide. Redd allegedly killed a man outside of his home on New Years Day because he apparently feared for his life after arguing with the victim. The victims name is yet to be released. Shawty Redd has produced many hits for artist like Snoop Dogg's "Sexual Eruption/Sensual Seduction" and Young Jeezy. Hold your head Shawty Redd!!!!
