FRESH OR NOT: India Arie & Perez Hilton on the Lady GaGa/Beyonce "Telephone" Video!
Well here we go ladies and gents!! The Lady GaGa fire has spread and people wanna put this fire OUT!!!!!!!! People are not happy about this “Telephone” video featuring Beyonce. From the lesbian lovers story line, to the profanity, she has really went wild!! We even have other artists not happy with this thing. India Arie did not keep quiet about it. She went straight to Twitter and opened fire!!
India said “my issue wasn’t with the nudity in the video, so much as the dark elements and unspoken back story that disturbed her.” She also said “Gaga’s influence and ability to turn the taboo into trend were also troubling.” But here’s more:
India then talked about meeting a young fan whose mother wouldn’t allow her child to watch the “Telephone” video!
Now I see what all the fuss is about this video, but why does Beyonce get to escape with clean hands? I am one of her biggest fans, but she has just as much to do with this as Lady GaGa!! Just goes to show this music business is her world.
Speaking of Beyonce, Perez Hilton is spreading his crazy views around in a interview with Vibe saying that Lady GaGa is a bigger pop star than Beyonce??? 
“I would say that Gaga is a bigger pop star than Beyoncé right now, just [based on] the sheer statistics. Like, all of Gaga’s singles have gone top of the charts,” said Perez. “Gaga’s tour, selling out. Beyoncé’s last tour did not have a lot of sellouts. And I’m not dissing her or anything. I’m just looking at it statistically.”“I think the ‘Telephone’ video blows away the ‘Video Phone’ video. ‘Telephone’ is such an epic work of art. It’s like a mini movie and there’s so much going on it really lends itself to repeated viewings,” said Perez. “What’s great about it is even though it’s Gaga’s song featuring Beyoncé, they both come across really well in the video and they both work really well together. [There’s] lots of criticism from lots of people but you know what, Gaga doesn’t care. She makes art and music for her fans and her fans love the video.”
Invented Fresh: Honey Magazine Talks To Ludacris About His New Album
Honey magazine sat down with Ludacris to talk politics about his new album “Battle Of The Sexes, where he breaks down the views of males and females in the music industry. They also try to get him to talk about the new chick in his life, FAB.
Ludacris: Originally and now it’s pretty much the same. Originally, I was trying to get an album where you had a balance of both the male and female perspectives on many different issues and topics. I feel like it’s a male-dominated industry and I wanted to get a chance to hear more of the female voice on different subjects. At the same time, you have regular Ludacris songs on there. Long story short, I have records talking about women, records talking to women and records where they are talking back to me. That’s exactly what the premise was [and is].
HM: How about your newly-launched cognac?
Ludacris: Conjure cognac. I love cognac so much that instead of just endorsing another product or putting my name on something, I took it upon myself to actually meet with a business partner and go out to Cognac, France and blend my own. I took some of the best quality cognac and mixed them together in one bottle, but I wanted to offer it at a price at which you would buy a regular quality cognac. Long-story short, it’s a better quality cognac at a better price. Conjure means to conjure your imagination and conjure good times.
HM: Where can we find Conjure?
Ludacris: It’s available in Georgia, New York, Florida, New Jersey, California and in Chicago in April.
HM: Who is Ludacris’ mystery woman? Is she someone special in your life?
Ludacris: I try to preserve certain things and keep things special and that is one thing that I would like to keep private.
HM: Describe your ideal woman
Ludacris: I don’t know what my type is until I see or meet that person. I guess I could say, intelligence, great personality and beauty, inside and out. I don’t discriminate.
HM: Your song, “Hey Ho” talks about the stigmas and double standards. Are you opening to dating a girl who has been around-the-block?
Ludacris: I’m not currently dating right now so I can’t answer the question.

FRESH INTERVIEW: Wendy Raquel Robinson Talks About Returnin To The Game
“Me and my husband were in shock. It was something that we campaigned for and prayed for. BET was promising from the get-go that it was going to happen. My only hesitation is that we haven’t gotten our deals as actors yet. So I’m hoping there will be no hiccups. I can’t really scream and shout the way I want to, but I’m doing internal somersaults. I just don’t want to lose the integrity of the show. … There’s nothing worse than coming back and it’s different.”
I’m not sure how good this new season will be, but I am excited to see how everything will turn out. With Rick Fox & Tasha Mac getting back together; Melanie and Derwin FINALLY get married; Janay finally having her baby; Jason’s relationship with Camille (Stacy Dash) getting deeper; Kelly fighting for Jason to come back to her; and Malik finding his dad and making his little sister an R&B superstar, there are so many directions they can go with the show. One thing we do have to realize though is that we are dealing with BET. Let’s see how things play out!!

FRESH: Congress Clears Historic Health Bill
The House of Representatives passed Obama's proposed health care bill with a 219-212 vote. The bill also guarantees that no federal money will be used to fund abortion.
Immediately following the passage of the bill, lawmakers also approved a list of fixes to the Senate bill. Those changes now head back to the upper house for a simple majority vote.
The law is expected to fully take effect by 2014.

Lil Wayne Sentencing Postponed Another Day...
According to NYDailyNews.com, rapper Lil Wayne's sentencing has been postponed for another day due to a fire in the basement of the Manhattan courthouse, yesterday March 2nd. It has been confirmed that the fire was caused by bad wiring with the courthouse's electrical system.
Lil Wayne's sentencing has been pushed back until Monday.
