FRESH ALERT: Celebs and the law!



Is it just me or do celebrities like getting into trouble with the law???

After Tip "T.I." Harris was recently released from prison, it was announced on May 12th, 2010 that Gucci Mane was released from prison after serving a 12 month sentence.


Just when you thought money and fame was enough for some of these artists, it seems like some celebrities can't seem to keep their personal problems out of the media. Lets cater to your fans Gucci and FOLLOW THE LAW.

XXcLusive: Gucci Mane Speaks From Jail, Says Album Set For Dec.

Moments ago XXLMag.com received a copy of a Gucci Mane’s first official statement since getting sentenced to 12 months in Georgia’s Fulton County Jail last Thursday (November 12) for violating his parole.

“I have accepted full responsibility for my actions and I am ready to deal with what is in front of me right now,” wrote Gucci, born Radric Davis. “Thankfully, my label is still moving forward with my album release so I will have plenty to look forward to when I get out. I am remaining positive and want my fans to know that I am grateful for their loyalty and continued support. I will get through this.”

Gucci’s attorney, Dwight Thomas, spoke on his client’s state of mind and how the Atlanta rapper avoided getting the maximum sentence.

“In court, Mr. Davis was extremely articulate and he was remorseful for his conduct,” wrote Thomas, via statement. “He was able to convince the courts that he was not deserving of the two year prison sentence he was facing.”

Despite Gucci’s recent incarceration, Asylum/Warner Bros. Records is pressing forward with the release of Gucci’s first major album, The State vs Radric Davis, on December 8. The LP includes features from Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Keri Hilson, Keyshia Cole and Usher among others.

Currently behind bars, Gucci is eligible for release in six months or less for good behavior.

Guess Who Is In Jail


Gucci was sentenced to 12 months in prison on (November 12) for violating His probation and taken away to prison in cuffs, according to a label rep. The sentence is a blow to Gucci’s career. His album coming "The State Vs. Radrick Davis" is supposed to drop December 8, There is talk he may be out of prison in six months.
