FRESH: Congress Clears Historic Health Bill
The House of Representatives passed Obama's proposed health care bill with a 219-212 vote. The bill also guarantees that no federal money will be used to fund abortion.
Immediately following the passage of the bill, lawmakers also approved a list of fixes to the Senate bill. Those changes now head back to the upper house for a simple majority vote.
The law is expected to fully take effect by 2014.
